If Mina can get over his injuries he is much better than Keane. Also now is the time to sell Keane due to his contract running down and his stock high after some good games behind closed doors. His game will crumble again with pressure of fans. And we need to move away from playing the deep defensive line to accommodate him, he is better suited to a lower half prem team that play defensive. If we want to break the top 6 we need to move away from this kind of tactic.

I don't get the Keane sell chat - he was our best player post-lockdown.

I think we keep all 4 CB's and have Branthwaite/Gibson go on loans. Simple.

He really wasn't, it was digne. Regardless 7 decent games in a style of play designed to get the best out of him doesn't change the fact he's been crap to bang avarage during his time here.

Keane looked decent playing in a low block because that's what he's good at. Stick the lad in the 18 yard box and tell him to header anything that comes into the box away and he's fantastic at that. Ask him to play a high line to put pressure onto a team and the lad falls to bits.

Playing a high line is how we push on as a team. Being able to have the whole of our outfield team in the opponents half applying pressure and giving players options, making our attackers difficult to mark by having more then one attacking player in the final third at a time that's how we evolve as a team. Not by playing like Burnley.

He can only play in the style that Carlo asks, and in the final 7 games he was excellent at executing it. He also cares, and considering the bunch of mentally inept pirates that currently play for us, I would like to keep the blokes that actually try.

Further to this, don't you think it is good to have some flexibility in the style that we play? Do you think that against Liverpool/Man City etc... that we can play a high line? It gives Carlo the capacity to be different - he doesn't have to start every game, but he is an excellent tactical and rotational option.

Squads ensure strong season results, not just the first XI.

It depends if we buying a left sides or right sided CB. But a big reason to sell Keane is exactly what you're saying... sell him on a high.. not when he is going through one of his down patches. he is up and down and we can do better. Selling him now would maximize his value.

should add I have no issue keeping him.. just the timing might be right..
