I don't get the Keane sell chat - he was our best player post-lockdown.
I think we keep all 4 CB's and have Branthwaite/Gibson go on loans. Simple.
It’s boring this now. Just sign for Utd and get it over and done with so we can spend the next month burning effigies of Marcel Brands & crying over the most tenuous of transfer links.
He really wasn't, it was digne. Regardless 7 decent games in a style of play designed to get the best out of him doesn't change the fact he's been crap to bang avarage during his time here.
Keane looked decent playing in a low block because that's what he's good at. Stick the lad in the 18 yard box and tell him to header anything that comes into the box away and he's fantastic at that. Ask him to play a high line to put pressure onto a team and the lad falls to bits.
Playing a high line is how we push on as a team. Being able to have the whole of our outfield team in the opponents half applying pressure and giving players options, making our attackers difficult to mark by having more then one attacking player in the final third at a time that's how we evolve as a team. Not by playing like Burnley.
Just show him a picture of Maguire... it’s enough to put even Stevie Wonder off.United do want a left footed tbf, can see him going there because there's hardly any
