Some of our fans are deluded - they think 3x time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti will allow a DOF out of his league to throw his reputation under the bus like Silva did when his side is getting tonked at home by dross like Bournemouth.

He can do much better than Everton and I fully expect him to say tatty bye if they balls up this window maybe not in September but like Benitez at the horse punchers he'll have a new club lined up and will be off come next June.

The very best managers have big egos and he aint gonna be sat in midtable watching the current squad put in half arsed performances week in week out.

Unless this summer business gets done it will be either Carlo or Brands gone come the end of next season bookmark this.

If Alan is true then I honestly can see either Ancelotti walking by the end of the upcoming season or Brands gone.

For me he's either backed to the hilt or he goes on his own accord - he isn't a Marco Silva who will never get another better gig in his career.

His contract is up next summer.

You would all be booing me within a week after I tried to overthink things and sign some 7 foot centre back from the Beazer Home Leagues on a whim.

Hes said 3rd horse pulled out.

Then in another reply hes told someone he doesnt actually know whats happening with either Gabriel but and its not been decided yet lol
 
Clearly the club will have a ceiling valuation of the player and if he’s too expensive they’ll look at alternatives. I think some of Brands signings have been questionable but it’s sensible to walk away if Lille are playing us for mugs. Sign at all costs was how we ended up paying £45million for Sigurdsson!!

Would hope so. It has to stop. Saying that its only 12 months since we payed 30m for iwobi. The ceiling valuation on him should have been 10m. And i am being extra generous there(my valuation is zero)
I cant help cry when i think with a little decent scouting just what we could of got in europe for 30m. I watch a lot of la liga and i see players ten times better than iwobi who wouldnt have cost 30m.
Brands worries me.
