If some journalists are to be believed we tried to restructure the deal and then pulled out when Lille wouldn’t go for it. We may not have been in for him for quite a while now. Still, we’ll see what happens.

The club denied that he was ever close to agreeing a deal, and again it still hasn’t been confirmed by anyone at Lille, Napoli or Arsenal that fees have been agreed
