I have no idea how Finch Farm compares but I've not seen it mentioned how important the quality of a clubs training grounds could be to potential new signings?

Is Brands a coach now?Or Brand's believed in Holgate.
As ITK’s told us not long after he arrived and as Holgate has now confirmed.
Brands took him under his wing and really helped bring him on.

Not confirmed anywhere mate.
Usual suspects are pushing speculation as being gospel because it suits their agenda.
That's not to say it won't happen, but its far from confirmed
Standard GOT really. A bit like @ForeverBlue92 claiming we need, and I quote, "a complete overhaul" of our medical department, like he knows anything/something about the subject, current staff or potential replacements.
LOL.
It sounded like we were trying to sign Zouma or Rojo right up to the deadline. I don't think that represents a ringing endorsement in Holgate.
Holgate improved a lot last season, but I'm not sure he'd have got the chance if we had signed the players Silva and/or Brands wanted.

He wouldn’t have hog a chance. Our best fortune always seems to come from adversity. We staged on with underperforming players until injury or suspension forces youth to be used, then were pleasantly surprised. It sounded like we were trying to sign Zouma or Rojo right up to the deadline. Silva was playing Holgate ahead of Keane at centre back in the end. I'm not saying he was always first choice but he'd pretty much cemented his place in the back 4 by the time Silva was sacked. Dunc continued playing him (although he played him a couple of times in midfield during his short reign) and by the time Carlo came he was pretty much established as our first choice centre back.He got the chance when CA came in and almost immediately made him the first pick CB. CA clearly likes him, (and im sure he likes he can cover RB too). Perhaps it was Silva who didn't quite rate Holgate and as a result wasn't going to get time. CA however has prioritised him if anything.
