Near £200 million spent in 2 seasons

£34 million on Iwobi
£8 million on Delph
£27 million on Kean (still a gamble at this stage)

Chasing Zaha around for weeks

Sniffing around Rojo

Led a merry dance by Zouma for over 2 months before failing to bring in a CB leaving us with just 2 at the time + Holgate who had not yet established himself.

Hojbjerg off to Spurs (not his fault entirely in fairness if the player preferred Spurs)

Having Gabriel in our grasps and likely to lose out on him due to renegotiating the deal.

I mean how much rope are we meant to give the bloke?

Walsh was sacked for one bad summer window alone whereas some still think this fella is good enough to lead us into the top 6 - even some of his better signings like Gomes & Mina are still off the level required when you compare them to signings the likes of Wolves have made.
 

As I am at work and can't be bothered trawling back through loads of pages, can someone clear up for me where it says that he has signed for Arsenal? Can't see any reliable source stating it as fact but the posters on here seem to think that he has.

I was never that hopeful of getting him anyway, but where does it say he has signed? Genuine question.

I've been fair with Brands in that I've given him this summer in my eyes before making a final judgement - but with just over 3 weeks away before the new season starts with no signings and 2 of our main targets having gone elswhere my faith has started to diminish.

Hasn't signed for Arsenal mate. Might be signing for them next week though by all accounts.

Or Napoli.


Possibly Everton.
