I have no problem with us looking to the championship.. its served us well in the past, anything is better than what we have. Im pretty certain if you replaced alot of our team with championship players we would be in a better position and play better football than we do now.

if they have pace power hunger and a bit of technique then I don’t care where we find them. We can’t afford to recruit another kid of slow players who don’t care about playing football.

Problem is there really aren't even bargains from the Championship anymore. We paid £30m for a keeper from a relegated team. Spurs paid like £35m for a winger from a relegated team. Cantwell will probably be sold for over £30m this summer too.

At this point, bring some kids from the U-23s up to see what they have. Start Kean, Gordon, Baningme, etc. Every young player who should (in theory) be hungry for minutes and to prove themselves. We aren't going down, but we aren't getting Europe either. Let our manager see what we have in the pipeline and let that knowledge guide our recruitment moving forward.

i look at Championship and see Grealish, McGinn from Villa. I see lads like Sibley at Derby, half the Brentford team like Benrahma, I’ve not got a problem.
