I use Bonemeal in my compost and planting with my multipurpose compost just a small amount it is a slow release naturally fertiliser full of phosphates ideal for root development, I then feed once per week with Maricela grow via a dilutir once the plants are established.....

Get knotted lol
It's no good showing a wow face when Japanese Knot Weed is lethal to grow in any garden, and reported to the authorities it is highly publicised as if it gets out of control it is very difficult to get rid of it, specialised forms have to be fetched in to curb its growth ......
I reiterate it is not a good idea to atttempt to grow this indestructible weed imported from Japan illegally many years ago it can destroy property foundations break through house bricks cause subsidence etc grows like lightening uncontrollably......it's a forbidded plant & invasive anywhere in our waterways plus it is self propagating with rhizomes underground growing at the rate of knots excouse my pun - @cronullasharks

As a former professional Horticulturalist I found it rpeatingly alarming as your post indicated .....

Hi Joey
Don't wish to nit-pick but Japanese Knotweed was brought into the UK legally in mid-19th century as an ornamental plant and was actually sold in nurseries long before it was recognised as an invasive species. I totally agree it is a now 'dangerous' plant in the UK without any natural predators, hence it's ability to spread without control.
