Agreed. He has softened the blow of losing Gibson a lot more than I thought he would as when fit Gibson is a quality player. Barry, McCarthy and Gibson is a quality trio to choose from. Gibson's a better all round Centre mid though, can get around the pitch more and has a great passing range. Shame he's made of glass.

Tough call for me to make. Safe to say though I love all 3 of them and Barry has surprised me most out of all of our signings for bringing absolute quality and confidence to the team.

He's fantastic every single week.

I don't think I've seen him play badly for us once.

I like Gibbo, but being honest I think Barry is a much much better player especially for our team blend and system. The spaces he gets into and the know-how of what to do throughout the whole 90 minutes is incredible.
