He's an improvement on Neville, Hitz and a CM Osman. So on loan, with presumably heavily subsidised wages, that makes him an improvement to the squad for me.
And considering Osman's been starting every game, that makes him an immediate best XI player at the moment. He's slow as [Poor language removed] but has had a good few seasons for City, as they finished 1st and 2nd, despite still being slow as [Poor language removed]. Clearly he can deal with his lack of pace more than Neville ever could.

This, he'll probably be in and out of the first team depending on whether Gibson is fit, but he's an improvement on Osman.

Can see him and Gibson as the sitting midfielders allowing the others to attack more. Defo better for that than any other player currently at the club.
