He's far too immobile to be playing in such an important position for us week in week out. I said during the game that he was finished and after a short time to cool down I still hold that opinion. Sissoko and Ayoze Perez just breezed past Barry today in the sort of fashion that you go past your 5 year old son in the back garden.

Basically he's not bringing anything to the side at the moment and should spend a bit of time getting splinters in his arse.

He can no longer cope with the speed of the game. Not his fault as such as age has not so much caught up with him as whizzed by. The writing was on the wall in the away game at Spurs last season when he seemed to be yards slower than his normal slow self and was having to step in front of oppo players to body-check them. He was arriving about 2-3 seconds late today on every ball he contested and getting murdered as a result.

The decision to give him a three year deal was madness. He dictated the terms to us and we should have said no, especially as he hadn't managed to find another club at the end of last season despite a month of trying. He came crawling back to us a last resort and we should have then dictated the length and terms of the contract not just rolled over and showed our tummies.

Since the last international break its been, every game weve been awful. Oh and in them 11 games weve won 3, funnily enough the 3 games Barry has missed. We havent won a game with Barry in the side since Lille at home in europe and Burnley in the league
