we've got three games coming up in the space of five days. I imagine Barry will play some part

Barry covered more miles than anyone in the Everton team. If he is excluded, it won't be for work rate.

Literally no reason in the world to let Barry go. Wouldn't get any money for him, and he's almost certainly a positive influence around the club. He'll be staying.

I agree if he was interested.

He's got loads of experience and that includes winning things that we should look to include into our long term setup.

He is a lot more creative than people realise. There were games last season where he was the only one in midfield getting the ball off the defence and looking forward. It seemed that he was doing that despite the manager and taking responsibility.
