Does anyone even care. If a player is gay, it's really none of my business, why the need to come out? If it makes them feel better then again it's their choice but still none of my business.

Must admit when I first joined this site I had my suspicions that some of the posters on here were straight.
Quickly realised how wrong I was.
England international? Must be Osman.
*sigh*
Surely the worst way to overcome homophobia in football fans is to form a group for gay fans? Do they have a 'Black Spurs Fans' group? You overcome this nonsense by removing the factor, not by highlighting it.
I for one fully supprt Jordan Henderson's decision when he does finally announce it
I have fond memories of gay towel from school pe changing rooms. Best days of my lifeWhat if they start playing games of gay towel in the dressing room? It would ruin morale.

It is a massive deal for a player to come out, it may not be for you, but it is for them. They effectively feel ready for the world to accept them as they are, it is your business to accept that and actively support what they are doing, not just shrug,
indeed, I gave up caring years ago about where another man likes to put his winky (as long as it doesn't involve me or evil Tory scum + pigs heads).Soz, but I am in the shrug camp, (sic). It has nowt to de with me, and I really could not care less. And I do appreciate the irony of me taking time to post that I dont care.
I'd say that not seeing it as a big deal is a form of acceptance, as long as we don't slip into deriding a player for coming out publicly, as it is a big deal for them and would still be pretty ground breaking and important any players following themSoz, but I am in the shrug camp, (sic). I'd argue that creating a gay fan club just gives the bigots a handy target. You make it go away by normalising it, not segregating it.
Would you make a Ginger-haired Everton Fan Group? Course not.
