Really? He'll be back in the PL by the time he's 30. Probably bring Jose Baxter with him. Thought both of those would make it to the first team. Hopefully with the right coaching Georg Green will.

I am not as convinced on him as others. I prefer Ledson. Green doesn't seem to have the speed to play the premier league yet. And given he is 18, hasn't played for the reserves that much, never mind done so much for them. Ledson and even Williams have played for the reserves a lot more often, even though they are younger

...I like Joe Williams. He doesn't have the profile of others and rarely gets a mention, but he's impressed me and I note he's very young in comparison to most. Needs to fill out, doesn't always see games out but a lot of potential.

It's the sort of thing that the likes of the Daily Mail will jump all over if he eventually makes it.

If the worst thing the lad does is filming himself reciting a silly song from a Will Ferrell movie, let them have at him. I would be more impressed if he nailed Por Ti Volare instead, though.

I haven't seen them that much mate, only the odd game here or there. But Ledson looks tall, gets around the pitch well, good technique and passing range, can get his foot in etc. I think the description of the Kirkdale Rodwell is an apt one, in that he has a nasty streak to his game that maybe was missing from Rodwell.

Green looks as the descriptions put him, smaller and more tricky. While I've seen him dribble past people and score goals, sometimes I wonder if it's down to the poorer standard of defenders/goalkeepers. AT times Green does take the mickey, but I remember JP Kissock was spoken about in the same way.
The problem for Green will be, in my opinion anyway, that he resembles something of a luxury player, so how do we fit him in? And in the mens game, which is faster, bigger and stronger, has he got enough about him, to be able to control games in the way he does for the under 18's?
Whereas Ledson I could easily see fitting into the team ethos.

I don't know too much about our very young players but I've enjoyed some great highlights on YouTube from him over the last few years.

I love the boats n hoes remake too, sense of humour shows he hasn't got his head up his own arse and should fit in with our team spirit.
