Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Its not part of their culture, so NO Spanish club should be judged on Away support.

That's a negative on them though in my opinion. There is no reason why they can't turn up in big numbers at least for their derby games. I know their allocations are smaller but less than 100 for a derby? Having said that, Atletico have a 55,000 seater stadium and are planning on moving to a 70,000 seater which we couldn't do.

I remember reading a quote from him talking about the support at Goodison. He says "At goodison, when you get a corner, it feels like the world is going to end"

Lad, score a last minute winner at the Goodison Derby and you'll actually **** yourself.

Its not in their culture, its something they dont do.

They dont see it as important. They dont have a Mob, drinking culture, so no need for it, so cant be a negative.

Can you find the interview that quote is from?

Gerard Deulofeu says one of the things which has impressed him is the noise inside Goodison Park: "The fans are spectacular... When there is a corner it sounds like the end of the world."
His latest chat was with Ca*ta*lun*ya Ves*pre Es*ports, picked up by Mundo Deportivo, and the youngster talked about his struggle to get into the Everton team.

For a player who has experience of playing at the Camp Nou the complement is worthy one and it's clear that the youngster has been impressed by the atmosphere in the Premier League and specifically at Goodison Park. The old ground with fans so close to players is different from many in Spain and he'll be able to feel the chants as well as hear them.

On getting enough minutes, the Barcelona boy explained "It's hard to make the team because there are very good players," and went on to say that he's working hard and hopes things will get better for him step by step. Barcelona will also hope he gets plenty of the time on the pitch and it could influence their loan policy in the future.

Deulofeu will hope to play a big part for the Spanish U21 side on Thursday night against Bosnia and then again on Monday against Hungary.
