Like Barkley you can see the class in him but at such a young age his decision making is not right but will come with experience, just like Barkley
Agree. Think Barkley is the more mature player at the moment, like. But they'll both learn. Happy for them to do that here though as there will be quite some end product.

He was alright today. Not as boss as some are making out but the best he's played for us. A couple of boss runs but he needs to pass the ball ffs. And put himself about a bit more, but meh he's only little. That chance he missed wasn't really his fault, Mirallas' pass was too hard.

Didn't he take a couple of touches?

Didn't he take a couple of touches?

yup, he did... picked up the ball abar midfield I reckon. Was expecting him to do the "Spanish" thing and either a) dink the keeper or b.) take a touch past the GK and slip it home. But no, he decides to slot it past Mignolet instead and fails miserably.

he was ok. he looked dangerous, but didn't really have the beating of flanaghan. he's still young though, you can see that when's older and more mature he may become a brilliant player, but i can't see him being one of the worlds best

doesnt want to know what the "dirtier" side to the game

though he was nowhere near bad if he had of got his head up a few times today he could have been brilliant

Personally think we'll have him on loan again next season, and he'll be absolutely superb.
You can see the signs that he's improving. Unfortunately for him Pienaar and Mirallas had good games today and dont deserve to be dropped, neither does Barkley.

I thought he was shocking today myself. Like really bad. However he does have the ability to do something great that can turn a game on its head. He will learn.

Think playing against terrible players too much has made him try and run through players which doesn't work at this level. When you're destroying Spanish B teams, probably about the level of our 4th tier, and Albanian U21s it's not good practice for the premier league.

His decision making looks off but that may just be because whenever he shoots against poor goalies he scores.
