Yeah pretty sure we'd trump spurs in regards to minutes on the pitch. It's not like signing a player this deal, it's all about the lad getting first team football, which no doubt we'd be offering more of an opportunity than spurs. Having said that, this is the kind of deal/player that when he eventually gets a loan sorted, we will all be scratching our heads as he joins a team like crystal palace.

What you've got to take into account in the favour of Spurs is they are playing in the Europa League which means more squad rotation enabling this player more regular playing time.

Word is Tito wants him around first team training and learning, but the player wants games and Tito can't offer that as he barely rotates.

Sevilla and Betis being linked too.

aww, I can see him going to Betis. They play really good football and he probably prefers to be in Spain

@barcastuff: Barcelona and Betis are holding talks on possible loan deals. Deulofeu and Bartra are among the players being discussed. [estadio deportivo]

It is believed Deulofeu wants to come to England on loan though.

can see this going the same way as the David Villa transfer. The English press talking about the premiership and how he's nailed on to come over to England and then very quickly goes to another spanish club

Everton clear favourites to get Deulofeu. Loan deal but no more: he will go back at Barcelona. I'll be going to Goodison often this year!

Balague gets things wrong sometimes to be fair. I remember saying once we had Joaquin deal sewn up.

If this is only a loan deal I don't see how this will benefit to this club in long term. So we help Baca to train up their kid. Is he that good?
