Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

As you may be aware, there is a meltdown on twitter. Some slagging the lad off because he wants to play with Messi instead of Osman.
Stupid. Imagine it was an Everton player out on loan, we'd want him to be ambitious enough to want to come back.

Said he wants to go back to Barca next season.

I'm sure @bicycleheader or someone can translate :)

The only thing I got was;

-What do I miss most about Barcelona? The food. And the sun. In England you see the sun once every ten days or so...
- I know it's difficult, they have many great players, but my idea is to be at Barça next season.

Link wont work and I struggle still with understanding Catalan anyway, but I don't think Deulofeus personal goal will come into Barcas final decision, and I don't know what that decision would be.

Even Barca say one more year loan I think it will be with us and Deulo will accept it and enjoy it.

Barca superstar in wanting to play for best club in the world shocker!

GET DIS JOKER OUT OF DIS CLUB

I know the lid has a lot to learn but I think we all know he isn't a prem player. bottling out of headers ect.

Might get ripped here. He misplaces quite a few passes on Saturday but tbf that was because it was Naismith and Osman. They aren't on the same wave length with him IMO, they aren't ready to do all this 'tica taka.' Terrible explanation as usual but you understand what I mean, right?

People who say 'He cant even get in our team nevermind Barca' are just wrong IMO. I know he won't get in Barcas team but its a completely different ball game. La Liga would be boss for him I think.

This.

I think it's a sign of good things for the player, that he wants to take on the challenge of breaking into their first team. If we take the blue goggles off for a moment, I think we would all do the same thing. As another said above me, it's not as though he was going to kick his parent club in the teeth, by saying he didn't want to go back.

It's clear that his time with us has helped him develop as a player. His run to save the goal on Saturday was proof of that. I think if Barcelona choose to loan him out again next season we would be the front runners. I take all of this as a positive.

He's nowhere near good enough to be involved for barca anytime soon. They have some of the best players in the the world ahead of him in his position.
