"It's amusing that people try to question my club support in order to discredit my opinions"

You aren't Faulkner. Keep it simple.

And people argue with you because you are abrasive and tittish. You discredit yourself by reeking of plastic.

Does that smell like bullshit?

Gerry isn't good enough at the minute to be a regular starter for us so he definitely isn't ready to be one at Barca, but he will be.

Another year on loan for us with the addition of Europe is exactly what he needs, it's just refining the good parts and removing the bad bits and this kid will be world class.

Inappropriate language
It's good entertainment to read & confirm how many baseless conclusions have been conjured up regarding my allegiances in a sophomoric attempt to somehow discredit the substance of my posts through tangential nonsense...I ignore trolling
Ooo...someone's had a dictionary shoved up their arse.

Just do one trying to condescend our fans you utter pube, you've shown you know next feck all about football other than a bit of Yewtree stuff about the young Barca players.

FCBarca : Do you speak in prose as well as write it ?

I think you will find that a lot of people who post on this forum are regular matchgoers.
That may be to premiership games or possibly watching their children or family/friends play at diffrerent levels.
I think you will find that can read a game as well as anybody and can certainly spot the strengths and weaknesses of a player.

You do yourself no favours with your attitude and I find it hard to take you seriously. I cannot decide if you are a prankster from next door to Goodison successfully winding people up or somebody who is trying to pass themselves off as something they are not...a knowledgable Barca supporter.

He played about a thousand minutes, often as a sub and often asked to create something out of nothing...Sometimes he had great midfield support but in the 2nd half of the season there was little of that...Yet, 4 goals & 5 assists

I think had he not gotten injured or Everton been competing for a top 4 finish, we would've seen more of him...And again, the question has never been whether he has the quality or scoring ability to succeed in top flight football but whether he could work hard on both ends of the pitch as well as play within the team

He is not the finished article, at 20, but he has a bright future and would be a shame to see it wasted warming the bench at Everton or any other Premiership side...Especially when you consider he won't be playing similar football with his parent club...Being in the rotation at Barcelona under Lucho (The man who first called him up to play for the B team from Cadet A), playing CL football and working on a daily basis with Messi, Iniesta, Neymar et al will be important to his growth as a player...If the attacking depth changes such that he would see even fewer minutes than he did under Martinez then a loan to one of many competitive Primera sides with playing styles that mirrors that of Barcelona would be far more logical...Adama, for one, is almost guaranteed to see more 1st team minutes in the coming season unless they loan him out as well which would make the competition for minutes even more complicated

Glad he got a glimpse of Premiership football after having been chased by several clubs since he was 13/14, will go a long ways in building on his already high level of confidence to succeed with the 1st team of Barcelona...I was skeptical that he'd be able to get into the rotation more than a year ago but he's been exceptional at every level he's played

Bolded is complete bollocks, you dont win 11 in 13 and 9/10 without having any support from midfield. He hasn't been exceptional at this level, put it that way. In no way is he a team player and that's something you need to have at Barcelona, Messi is the best in the world because he is exceptional on the ball as well as working hard off it.

Say what you will about Deulofeu, the kid has some of the most brilliant footwork I've seen. His persistence in the box won us the match at Sunderland.

He's a raw talent though and obviously hasn't been as consistent as we would all like. I really hope he's back with us another year. Definitely adds depth.

Just gonna ask a question.

What would Deulofeu offer us that Nathan Redmond wouldn't?

@FCBarça

Oh no! don't do that.
I really don't rate that Redmond lid.

There was an article in Marca last week about Luis Enrique's decisions and priorities, with most of the players mentioned in some way as a definite stay or go....or that they will go if offers come in. This included Rafinha who did so well for him at Celta, but the one player out of all they seemed unsure about was Deulo whose situation they just described as unknown.

Take it as you will. I'll be happy to be seeing him back here next season, but I'll be happier still if he gets another full season to grow in the royal blue. I'm fully sure we could see some real magic.
