I know where you are coming from. But it's all about leveraging the system (loans in this case) to your own maximum (albeit short term) gain...with downstream benefits (medium-long term) to accrue (hopefully!).I'd rather blood players we own so when they improve and their price improves because we took a risk on them then no one else benefits beside us. All for loaning players that can't get a game for their club but not youth players that never intend on playing for us after the loan.
So is it 100% hes not coming next season?
He had some great cameos here and there, but he never did the business whenever he started. Still has LOADS to learn as a footballer, still very raw and often naive. That's why I think the decision not to send him out again is the wrong one from Barcelona, he'll be thrown to lions over there if he plays in the first team right now. I would definitely have had him back but it wasn't to be, oh well.
There's about 50 other Spanish whizz-kids in La Liga we can go after instead, some of them will be just as good if not better than Deulofeu. Hopefully Martinez gets his transfer cap on and gets some business done before the World Cup!
Afellay is broken.
Pity...even Ill get to see him back here, I would much prefer him stay in blue.
Id like Denis Suarez or Adama if we take another loan, really enjoyed watching them this season in the Bs.
The lid is absolutely made for counter attacking football. I don't see him being a massive success for a possession based side like Barca. I suspect he'll make his name elsewhere.
Well obviously. That's not exactly breaking news. The debate is whether he can.
Apparently Sergio Roberto and Issac Cuenca are available, both have 1 year left on their contracts, have you seen much of them? Do you think either would be any good for us?
