Arsenal away, Newcastle away, Stoke at home, Liverpool at home. That's four games i can think of off the top of my head, ridiculous to say he's only had three or four good appearances for us out of 29.

Arsenal away he scored a good goal but was only on the pitch 15 minutes. The others he was good in. Fulham at home he was good. There's 4 or 5. Not brilliant really is it?
 

Even when he's not really in the game he affects it in how the other team set up to counter him or defend against him. Tactically he's very important and he's a nightmare when teams are chasing us.

A very good player who'll be missed.

He played 802 minutes in the league, or just under 9 full matches. In that time he won us at least 10 points as a direct result of his performances.

10? Not arguing with that just wondering which 10 you'd say they were? Arsenal away he won us one, Sunderland away you could argue that his cross for the own goal won us three. Erm.

Arsenal away, goal. Draw 1-1.
Newcastle away, two assists. We won 3-0.
Cardiff home, goal. We won 2-1.
Stoke home. Scored the first goal to break the deadlock just before half time, then got an assist in the second half.

Didn't even think of Sunderland but that's a bonus. So 13 points really. Not bad for so few minutes.

You've got it in for him, it's a bit weird.

I've not got it in for him, I just don't rate him. Nothing weird there.

Plus you can't exactly directly attribute them points to him except the Cardiff and Arsenal ones considering we won by more than one goal. Newcastle away - the first one wasn't really an 'assist'. He did well, yes, but it was a 5 yard square ball to Barkley who ran 60 yards on his own. Stoke we won 4-0 so while he played well you can't say we won because of him. By your logic we would have won 2-0 without him, and beat Newcastle without him too.

I actually think he could be brilliant if he ran past players instead of waiting for them to tackle him, but he's a lot further away from a high standard than people are making out.
