Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

No doubt he was good, and he will get better.

However, I can't help feel that if he'd played last night against Wolfsburg, he'd have tried about 14 step overs, lost the ball on the touchline and gone to ground, leaving the other 10 players to regain the ball.

He's great and will be excellent, but he's room for improvement. Martinez said that he has to learn that when he loses the ball, the game carries on. But he's young, he'll learn.
That's it. Not the finished product but a real talent. How can people not want him if he was available?

True, that probably would have happened mate. But it's equally as possible that he'd have beaten all those players and lashed it in the bottom corner.

Tell you what, McGeady does my head in far more than Deulofeu ever did.

I suppose all the players do our heads in at differing times. McGeady's decent enough though.

Deulofeu though, and I may be way out on this, always struggled to last for the full 90 mins. Did he play an actual full match?

Don't think he did. But Rom isn't doing that at the minute.

Did he ever do anything like that?

I think he would have put in a better showing than McGeady if he was still with us but I also wish that Roberto had subbed him with Atsu say 15/20 minutes from end.

I don't think so.

Right now he is so predictable; its a reason why he isn't making an impact. I'm sure that will change eventually (Ronaldo was the same) but at the minute, even you could mark him out of the game mate. You know what he is going to do.
