Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

He has a way of imparting a top spin on the ball so it dips suddenly...his Arsenal goal was a classic example as is the delivery in the vine above. He will be a starter now by the sounds of things

I don't know if he will ever get his head up and pass it...where and when it's supposed to go. But he runs at defenses and puts a ball across the 6yd box. What isn't there is some one to take the chance, play the percentages and get on the end of them. If the price is right we could do worse

What would be a realistic / value for money price for him??

He's got very raw talent, bit like Ronaldo when he was younger, absolute blistering pace and a great shot. If he works as hard as he can and on his weaker areas and decision making, gets in the gym and bulks up a bit I think he has the potential to be a class act.

He's so unpredictable he is a nightmare for players to mark, I would like to have him back as he is a brilliant option to have especially with Atsu as well as he's of a similar ilk.

Can't see it happening though unfortunately.

What's with the abuse towards FCBarca? Have I missed something? I enjoy reading his updates.

It's to do with the fact that because he's played well in one game, he will hail it as proof that he's the new Maradona and could score 50 goals for Barcelona right now this season.

That, and he's some sort of Swiss-American faintly Yewtree type individual.

That and the incredibly high handed way he used to speak to everyone who didn't see that Delf was a Catalan Gerard Christ.

LOL...say what?
I don't mind his updates...being a Del fan

No doubt he was good, and he will get better.

However, I can't help feel that if he'd played last night against Wolfsburg, he'd have tried about 14 step overs, lost the ball on the touchline and gone to ground, leaving the other 10 players to regain the ball.

He's great and will be excellent, but he's room for improvement. Martinez said that he has to learn that when he loses the ball, the game carries on. But he's young, he'll learn.
