There surely has to be more to this. He was going through a period there where he seemed to have turned the corner and was getting game time, and doing well.

For the boy's sake, I just hope this loan rubbish ends for him. He needs a permanent home, to work with a Manager and team for 3 years that help him top improve.
Being ruined by Barcelona.

On the limited amount saw of Holtby, liked him too. Always put in the effort at least.

According to this though, looks like the only reason he hasn't been playing regularly was a broken collarbone, he was before the injury so guess the loan is working out for him.
