Loved him when he was here but if he's not good enough for them...
It certainly raises some serious questions. Although he was clearly not the finished article, I really liked Delboy when he was here.
Raw pace and explosive talents could easily turn a game, or he could simply frustrate. But that's normal for a kid regardless of how good they are.
He single handedly (or at least contributed) to the club getting a fair few points last season: Arsenal away; Sunderland away; Stoke at home et al.
Yet, it does concern me that he's not even getting a game at Sevilla. Are they oblivious to his potential? Or we missing something about him?
Enrique was happy to loan him out even though there was an impending transfer ban. Sevilla aren't a poor team but he isn't vying for a place.
Is he not as good as we believed? Is there an issue regarding attitude such as work rate or ethics?
Hopefully he's just in a difficult situation rather than it suggesting an underlying problem. Either way, I'd still punt a few million on him.
Perhaps he is a player better suited to the Premier league than La Liga? we've certainly seen the opposite be true.

He's got slighly more time than Deulofeu, he's at least started once this year!, but he isn't really being used that much either.

It could just be a weird manager thing.
Both he and the Barca coach are meant to be sticklers for defensive workrate aren't they? Don't watch La Liga myself but if that is true can understand why deulofeu may not be their cup of tea. Loved the lad but about the best I can say about that part of his game is "erratic".
On the plus side the Spain u21 manager clearly rates him and gets him performing well.

he's probably been a bit tittish and Emery wont stand that kind of behaviour. he's also just a loanee so he aint high in the picking order.
this was bad move for all three parties.

I just worry he's gone downhill a bit.
I'd still get him though. For a decent price. Nothing too crazy.
