The 'buy back' clause (if there is definitely going to be one should we sign him) is a win-win - IF we do sign him and in 2 years time Barcelona want to buy him back for the reported 12million Euros then it means he has been pretty special in those 2 years and we will have doubled our money along with having a great player play for us for 2 seasons. If he isn't very good 6million Euros is not a big loss considering the money we have spent on other players in the past.

To be perfectly honest I have no idea what your talking about. Naivety is not defined as a person unwilling to make grand jumps in 'logic' in order to arrive at the conclusion that they wanted in the first place.

Now fire away and take the last word on the matter because I have no intention of having an online argument about whether or not I'm being naive when thinking a footballer of Deulofeu's quality would re-sign for Barca just to make them and him a bit more cash (with no chance of him ever playing for them). Frankly, I don't think he'd want to embarrass himself like that.

Has the ability to be a crowd favourite, your best and key player. Imagine your best player leaving for just 12 million euro's in two years time. The clause won't be an issue now because you just want him signed, but it certainly has the potential to cause massive fume further down the line.

Player values are only getting bigger and your Naismith's will be signing for clubs for 12 million euro's in two years time.

Probably not though. He'll huff and puff for a couple of years, make the right pass about once every 30 or 40 attempts and link up with Ross Barkley at Hull.
