No and they may never want him back. But you can count on it that they are going to make sure in this deal that they are financially compensated adequately if he does.

Almost all transfer fees are paid by installments, no reason why this one should be any different?

We should give them more money than they want so that we don't seem like bad tramps paying just £3m for a player.

What I like about the proposed deal is that Barcelona is Gerards boyhood club, he is desperate to be a success there.
The buy back clause at least gives him a glimmer of hope that it may yet still happen.
He knows however that the only way that that is ever going to happen now is if he knuckles down, plays like a world beater and rips the prem apart during his time at Everton ;-)

Nah it's totally different mate, we had Del on loan and he seemed to love it here, the fans loved him too it's nothing like the Lukaku situ....get him signed now Bobby FFS Stoke are coming!
