So it doesn't matter what the buy back is then. They're giving him to us for peanuts. Let's get it done and stop messing around.

As a club we're in the stone age when it comes to finalizing things. As I've said, we can be greatful he isn't that good as it currently stands and that other clubs are not interested.

a) if someone is on a 6 figure salary, they can go out and just buy a house.
b) if someone is on mid-range five figure salary they go to the bank take out a mortgage and pay off the house gradually.

do you have a go at person b for their choices?

At the risk of getting torn to shreds for not divulging source, I understand a fee was agreed, agent was at FF last week, but we were miles apart on wages, bonuses, and image rights.......... But the holdup is not with Barca, it's between club and agent now.

No. They are not giving him to us for peanuts. If they don't want him back after the initial period (2 years maybe) the price will go up massively. Don't be so naive as to think Everton are holding this up over how the initial fee will be paid.

Everton is a poorly ran football club in terms of its finances. It's a mess and has been for years. It's been that way through mistake after mistake, lie after lie and not grabbing many an opportunity. The lad earning a modest hard earned five figure salary is hardly the same.
 
Face it if he wasnt a sexy foreigner from Barca then we'd not be anywhere near as worked up as we are. His first spell was okay with a nice highlights reel but any more than that?

Don't get me wrong I want him here and will readily buy into the hype - but it's a punt and no mistake

If Deulofeu wants me to pay image rights for my current avatar I'll happily have a chat to him about it on that beach over a nice pineapple pizza.
