Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

also with clubs like barca, there can be a fee arranged to buy out there buy back clause, complicated i know but it happens in football.

I imagine martinez wants him longer than the 3 years, so that could be part of the negotiations.

I wouldn't worry too much, just relax and wait for it to happen, we're definitely getting him and its only been about three days so chill.

Which would be pointless to arrange. If Barca want him they would get him regardless of any buy back clause unless if he wants to stay with us so still no clause required.

Tell that to a lawyer.

A contract in writing is worth something.

Take note Kenwright.

It's simple.

Lennon is not worth 9 million pounds.

This puts us with thus (if true) into a stronger position.

Further. Barcelona could find another player they prefer or a whole his of things meaning theyd never want him back.

They're just doing due diligence to say if they ever remotely did, its not going to be for £60million.

Which is fair. The argument we are putting together is no doubt we'd still want a decent fee for developing his value in that circumstance. So £20million doesn't look unreasonable there.

Both parties can be happy. We get a decent profit. Barca save themselves a hefty wedge potentially. Win win.

Good way to do business

New ball is available in the next over Jim, and I have an inkling that they will take it.

I knew I recognised you Chico

Very Wind

Who's arsed about Barca having a buy back option anyway?

If he becomes good enough that they want him back, we have no chance of keeping him.

Is right. It's like people think we would be able to stop Barcelona wanting our players!

John Stones doesn't have a Barcelona clause, but if they want him at some point, i'm fairly sure they'd be able to get him. (Transfer ban permitting!)

If he gets half as good as they say then we'll be selling to Spurs before Barcelona, sad fact is they attract better players than us these days. Barcelona, that's a pipe dream.

It's clear that they rate the guys potential in such extent that they want to avoid a possibility of loosing a potetintially world class home grown. If they get him back it means D-Train has been superb to Everton. Win win situation in that context mate

true...if he becomes good enough to play in the Barcelona 1st team he won't be sticking around here anyway
