That or he means were we finished 5 places higher and only missed out on Europe because Swansea and Wigan won the cups.

Lennon was far more influential for us but unfortunatly isnt spanish, hasnt a sexy name and once had silly eyebrows and said "INNIT" a bit. I dont understand the hysteria about a lad who loved a stepover.... x2 too many I may add...admittedly scored a couple of goals but then went missing...Lennon scored 2 too ...won a pen aaaand ran loads for the cause, infecting the rest of our lazy bellends to decide to try the same. They even admitted it. "We saw him running a lot, even trying to change the game....made us look bad, so...we had a meeting.tried it and.....yeah we suddenly looked more interested"..."we even (at times) deserved a portion of our wages".......aka phillip Jagielka.

I'd love us to sign Lennon, he was phenomenal for us. Even worth 9m for me for our side, that's how influential he was.

Can I ask why you're comparing Deulofeu, a 19 year old kid when with us last time, in his first ever full season at a top flight club, in a foreign country, to Lennon a 29 year old Premier League veteran?

Doesn't seem a very fair comparison really.
 
I hope we sign Lennon as well as Deulofeu.

Some of Del's best moments were on the left (Cardiff, Stoke) so he can be used on both sides and Lennon gives you the work rate and raw pace but without the end product. A mix of two players with pace but with different styles.

Would be over the moon with both to be honest, especially considering Del is gonna cost buttons.
