Can see him maybe playing behind the striker similar to what Maloney did, could work wonders too.
Nah, the kid is a tricky winger that can go inside or down the byline with a change of pace. Harder to operate in a similar fashion in a central position.

Pretty certain he played quite a number of games behind the striker also mate! either way its versatile, the front three behind the striker, (ideally, Pienaar, mirallas, Deulofeu) can all interchange and swap positions through the match.
I'm assuming you know this from watching him many times.
Yeah I know he can play there, but I think he would definitely be more effective down the line/wing majority of time. But definitely think we will see the three interchanging which should hopefully be dangerous.
From what I have seen of the lad, a couple of games and highlights i've watched. Enough to see what his strengths seem to be. Enough to form a bloody opinion.
The sarcastic comments on this forum with regards to whether people have scouted players for the last 2 years or not are getting tiresome and boring.

Since when do you have to provide evidence and analysis on how you came to your opinion along with your post on a forum? In order to avoid being ambushed with a boring and repetitive sarcastic remark that is thrown around on here far too often.
Seem the same argument a million times. Seen him in some Spain Under20 games and watched ton of highlights since he signed. I don't see why some people claim you need to have sat your arse on a seat in Spain watching Barcelona B for the last 2 seasons to be able to form an opinion on the kids strengths.

Never claimed i've watched him loads at all, actually. Simply pointing out that you're saying 'nah, he's a winger not a playmaker' when he in fact has played in both positions plenty and you haven't really watched him a lot.

Where in my post did I claim you had watched him loads? I was clearly saying you seem to be of the opinion that's what it takes to form an opinion on a player.
He's played both, so what? All I said was I think hes stronger when down the wing, which also seems to be his preferred position. Neither did I say he was incapable or had never played a central playmaker role.
So how bout you sort your own knickers out first.
