His performance in the 1-0 at home against City is the best lone strikers performance I can remember. Absolutely ran himself into the ground, could barely walk off the pitch.

A player doesn't post his assist stats if he doesn't pass. His big problem is not making the key pass when it's on but rather running down a blind alley when a simple negative pass is on. Sometimes however it comes off and he creates a chance, often it doesn't and that's when he looks bad but while I agree that instinct needs tempered it doesn't need extinguished either.

If you are looking to be frustrated by him he won't disappoint. He frustrates the hell out of me too but in time he will learn. We just need to give him the time. He's now our player (hopefully) so we will get th benefit.
