He doesn't get a free pass from me. He's doing what I want a wide player to do - create chances and be a constant threat.

In his first season yeah, as a 19 year old in a new country starting senior football for the first time, sure, he had a bad patch, particularly after his injury.

Since he's signed this season though, he's been fantastic. I don't know if you have an issue with the odd bad cross or failed through ball, but that's what he's on the pitch to do - if it doesn't come off, oh well, it'll probably come off when he gets the next chance to do it, and he's proven that to be the case so far.

The only issue I have is his diving

Love him.he usually gets lots of ball and always try to make something happen.obviously it aint going to come off all the time but his stats show he has to play some part every game.loses the plot sometimes with his crosses cos he's trying to do that little bit extra with it but hope he is blob on tmrw and Wednesday.

There was times weeks ago,when i thought no one wanted to pass to him at times,when he was free and with a decent chance to get the ball in the box,not now though

I can't understand criticism of him at all. Sure, he'll have games where things don't come off, but he's a constant threat in a wide area and that's what you ask of a winger. Greater consistency will come with age for him.

Agreed. It's like writing Lukaku off when he's scoring goals which is what you ask of a striker mate.

I must say my heart drops when he is not in the starting XI.

I just love the frisson of excitement that goes round the ground every time he gets on the fall and starts running forward.
