Last season we played Barkley in several positions to improve his all round game and likewise kept playing in a way to force Lukaku to hold the ball up. Both have benefitted from that this season.

I think if Deulofeu is played on the left then if he plays the same way as he does on the right he will need to cut back to cross the ball. That being said, perhaps he can drive into the box instead and be a bit more direct and/or cross with his left foot?

Could improve his overall game for next season perhaps?

lennons been playing out of his skin in his position? not sure how he would do on the left tho...

Results have been better without him in the team, so as much as we want to see him playing you can't blame Martinez for keeping him in.

Lennon might not be as good to watch but right now he's more effective.

Certainly an option mate. He popped up on the left a couple of times away at Stoke as well and laid on a couple of chances.

Won't be surprised to see Cleverley out on the left on Saturday though mate.

The problem with Delo is that he is always looking to get forward and provide width... Doesn't fit in with the Martinez 'side to side' retain possession until all opposition are back in position game plan.

The last 3 games dell boy started, he was goosed after 50mins.

The last game was city @ etihad in semi and geri fitness let us down that ngt.

All things considered, he is a great game changer and you can't drop lennon. Unless u move him to left

Been getting the Mirallas treatment recently, sad to see. Hopefully he two foots Martinez next time he sends him to warm up.
