I'd like to see Geri really go for it and develop himself rather than accepting being the eternal substitute as he has done for much of his career.

When I first saw him he reminded me of Ronaldo when he started. I still think he could be that good but he has to want it, stop being so nice and have that determination to do that.

You can't really drop Lennon at the moment but I think that Geri has a similarly positive effect on games (even if he seems to have dropped out of the game he get fire in an immaculate cross and get you a goal in the last minute).

Cmon Geri. Make it impossible for the manager to drop you

Does anyone know anything about his work ethic? I remember hearing Ronaldo used to stay for hours on end after training, perfecting free kicks etc. It would be nice to know Geri was a perfectionist as well.

A cup quarter final at Goodison under the lights... something about the night air that makes the fast fast, but sprinters uncatchable: PLAY HIM

Doubtful, he can't muster up enough energy to track back during games so I doubt he's pulling o/t at finch farm. Would still play him this w/e though

I'd like to see him play on the left, with Lennon playing so well and Mirallas never stepping up when needed, Geri needs a change

At the start of the season Lennon sat quietly while Geri was in the team, and now the roles have reversed.
Deulofeu needed the rest and I would say is just about ready to get back in and to play.
Hopefully he will have learned something from the way Lennon goes about his business.

Lennon on the left for me, more experienced and still allows Deulofeu to whip balls in with his favoured right foot.

Lennon also offers the cover for his fullback, on the right we can have McCarthy coming across leaving Deulofeu as an outlet.

Or we could play two wingers and be normal.

Looking for reasons to play Geri is laughable. He was the best winger in the League the first half of the season.
Just.Play.Him.OMG.Finally.

I don't even like Ronaldo but he's a physical freak, gerrys fast but he'll never be as strong or athletic as Ronaldo
