Christ you lot are getting worse than the cultists...

He had a bad game, so what? Stop changing your opinion on players game by game FFS. A player isn't "gash" because he plays badly one game, same as how a player isn't "boss" if he scores one goal.
I refuse to read the excrement on the last page or two

Put Coleman behind him and it'll be a completely different story from today as teams will have to come out to close Coleman which will create space for Del.

It's clear that Browning isn't comfortable on the ball so we struggled to create the passing angles to get Del involved.

The amount of times he tried to take players on and lost possession was daft, you can beat a man by passing or crossing it around him, like Beckham did, not trying to go through 2 players all the time. It was his ball when we lost it and the passage of play started that led to there goal. Poor today but we know this season he will win us points.

One flaw in that analysis IMO

Sure, he did indeed lose the ball which eventually ended up with them scoring.....but the ball was played to him in an impossible position.

He was stood right on the touchline with a marker right on top of him.

The ball should never have been played to him.

And this is what was happening all afternoon.

He was either receiving the ball with his back to goal and a man tight on him or it was bring played to him at chest or head level.

Yes he wasn't great today but the team did not play to exploit his strengths.

A couple of times he got off the leash and havoc ensued in their back line.....once with devastating results ;)

FOr my money Gerry's is the first name on the team sheet v the Mancs and Arsenal the following week.

This x 100

Crap 1st half then, gutted for the simple reason of he was on fire he would have destroyed them today. Not worried though, absolutely love him and it's just a bad game as he's finding his feet again getting a run of games. Good players waiting in the wings as well if his levels drop dramatically. He's gonna win us a few more games this season of that I am certain.

Not sure if anyone noticed but Gerry was given the job to press sakho when he had it ,the only serious pressing we did first half, so that was a plan and he did it well, without much joy unfortunately.

I don't think we press teams anywhere near enough, the amount of times defenders are allowed to stroll over the half way line with the ball whilst we back track is so annoying. the occasions we do press they panic and we can normally force them into an error.

How can you say he doesn't look like someone who graduated from barcelona on 60 minutes of football.
Did you think the same on monday night or do you just like to [Poor language removed] our players off for fun
I'm basing it from the three years I've seen him play mate.

He's nowhere near Barca class. Its not a slight on him because not many are, and that doesn't mean to say I don't like him, because I do. He can be dangerous but for me at the moment he blows cold way more than hot. He lacks a footballing brain in my opinion, his decision making is suspect and can run around like a headless chicken at times.

HOWEVER he is young so has got the scope to improve. I hope he does and hope its with us, because he's a good option to have. I think people tend to get carried away over him though.
