Had an off day and created 2 of our 3 best chances including our goal. Lacking that extra yard of pace that full match fitness will give him. He tried things and they didn't come off, but we want our creative players to be trying something different.

He's nowhere near Barca class. Its not a slight on him because not many are, and that doesn't mean to say I don't like him, because I do. He can be dangerous but for me at the moment he blows cold way more than hot. He lacks a footballing brain in my opinion, his decision making is suspect and can run around like a headless chicken at times.

HOWEVER he is young so has got the scope to improve. I hope he does and hope its with us, because he's a good option to have. I think people tend to get carried away over him though.

You realise that a good football brain and inconsistency aren't the same thing, right?

Not everyone can be Messi every game. Not even Messi.

Think today for him was a mix of crap play from us, not getting him involved at the right times, and him being too eager to be Roy of the Rovers because of the expectation.

He's a good player, and very much worth his starting place today. He'll become an excellent player with us, I'm sure of it.

Yeah I wasn't grouping them together. He's young I don't expect him to be consistent every week but his decision making at times leaves a lot to be desired. I just don't think he has that intelligence about him, the thing that the big players have. He's a decent player at the moment and may turn out to be a very good player but he'll never be class. Ross is A LOT better than him imo, even though he's daft at times too.

People were saying the exact same about Ross last year though.

Think theyve both got to work on their decision making. Can't question the footballing brain though I've seen both of them play balls that Leon Osman wouldn't have even dreamt of after a 10 hour FIFA session
 
Still technically created our goal in one of his off days. He hardly had much help down the right as most of our play seemed to flow from the left, but he did get a couple of chances created - he will continue learning and throughout the season become more effective more efficiently.
 

He was the victim of his own great performance last week, he got targeted defensively and I'm sure Rodgers knew Browning isn't the type of player to be bombing on helping him out offensively. Out numbered any time he tried to have a run at Moreno which is a shame because the kid makes things happen in 1v1 situations.

Hope he keeps his place in the team
 
Would hate to see his pass completion stats. Don't mind if Kev comes in for a game or two tbh. Good to have some competition - would be nice to see them both start a game at some point.
 
Poor day for him, but like everyone else he is young and will learn - ill take a couple of good games skinning defenders and assists, then a couple of poorer games right now.

Still going to be great, loving his earlier balls into the box, not getting to the byline so much.
 
........he was really disappointed with himself coming off, you could see that in his reaction. I'm sure he went into the game thinking he could be the difference but it just didn't happen. Great cross for the goal, though, so he made a telling contribution.
