How dare he set up goals. That's not very Everton, is it? Should be punished for putting crosses into dangerous areas by being dropped for Osman next game. That'll show him

We all know he is a frustrating player as all wingers are but if one good cross or one bit of magic leads to a goal then its job done. He couldn't get past his player against Liverpool but still provided a wicked cross that caused mayhem and led to a goal. I would give him an hour at least every game. The boy is an assist machine and will always help us get goals.

Feed Delboy and he will assist for a goal with any type of cross - That red lot put two men on him one cross+ one goal he had a poor game because of lack of passes to him, and he still created our only goal!

His sole contribution (of any worth) in the last 2 matches has been putting in brilliant crosses from the right wing, which have brought goals that have won matches. He has to expect more from himself than just that .. I'd like to see more energy, more physicality ... and is it me or has he lost pace / that initial burst of acceleration ?

C'mon Gerry lad start investing in yourself, train hard, hit the gym with vengeance & show the World what you are truly capable of.
I agree he is not showing his pace at the moment, certainly over short distances. He's also struggling to get past his markers because he's missing that little bit of sharpness that gives him 'fast feet'.

Starting him against Liverpool would have been a good confidence booster and given him more assurances about his long-term future in the team but I think we'd have had more success starting Lennon and swapping to Del for the last 30 minutes. He doesn't look as confident in his 1v1 at the moment but that hasn't hindered him much as his crossing has improved so much since he was last here.

One of my red mates at work said his crossing style (early, pacey & whip) reminded him of Beckham's crosses. Obviously we can only hope his delivery got as good as Becks' was.
