They were the terms in 2015, when he had 2 years left on "his deal", the deal which expires this Summer.

We signed him on a 3 year deal with a 2 year buyback clause- this is the 2nd year of the clause therefore its still part of the agreement - if they activate the buyback clause them terms come into effect.

IMO he will be sold, forgive me for not taking contract information from a lying clown like Martinez.

This deal was ridiculous. We invest the time and money in their player and they reap the rewards.

Brilliant.

The deal always was ridiculous.

When 12m gets you half a Troy Deeney in todays market they where always going to take him back as a desperate club such as Middlesbrough or West Ham would throw 20m at him.

As it is I would imagine AC will pay north of 15m and Koeman has no interest in him so it suits all parties if we get some profit and Barcelona do to. After all RK will not upset a club he loves.

It was a gamble that we took, when we signed him mate.

The club always knew this scenario was a possibility.

I doubt he'll get anywhere near their first team, bar a few appearances as subs and cup games and will then be sold on.

I wish him well though, as if someone can get him fit enough to play at his best all the time, he's got potential to be a very special player.
No one will get an extended period out of him, unless he drastically changes his career trend. But if he's going to do it, the slower pace of those leagues will aid him.

Seems a cracking lad, who has a massive soft spot for Everton, also with bags of talent, but he'll never make it in this league.

At the end of the day, making a £9m profit on a player the manager doesn't like is nothing to cry about. If that's the worst case scenario then it's not the end of the world for us.

I'd rather us keep him mind, but doubt he wants to play for Koeman and Koeman clearly doesn't think he's worth having in the squad. So what can you do?

Also, if there wasn't a clause or anything do you think we'd have gotten him for so little? We would have probably had to spend at least 15m, maybe more. Then could we say we would still make 9m profit?
