There's a rumour that they'll pay us a bit more so they can allow him to go out on loan again. It's an odd deal. How long would the contract be when Barca get him back too?

I can see it where they'll pay us £15mill or whatever. Loan him out to Milan until they pay for a full transfer and recoup the £15million.

Or...he might actually get a run out at Barca under the new manager.
 
Everyone seems to be missing the point that barca are a bit skint due to all the legal issues over their tax avoiding practises, murmurs of having to sell one of their front 3 to ease the financial strain.
Bringing a local lad back has a feel good factor to take the focus away from their off field worries
 
Agreements between two parties can be disregarded by mutual consent. Especially if it's beneficial for both clubs. As others are saying, if we get more than the agreed €12mil. and Barcelona can turn a profit themselves then we're both happy. If Milan are happy with the price then I see no barrier to Deulofeu making the move to Milan permanent, something I imagine he's very keen on.

The main point of this contract is that gerry has to go straight into their 1st team. (never happen). They are just making noises because they know that after the summer he is gone for good.

Phew, I thought he was a replacement for Ross. I can see him being good backup or in tandem with Ross but, would he move to be a squad player? Maybe, as players seem to have an arrogance that makes them think they can take anyone place in the team?

Still wish Del was here, if we could find a way to get the best out of him, regularly in this league. Doesn't look like it will happen though.

7th without him as opposed to 11th with him.

8th, 10th and this season currently 7th with work to do to secure a Europa league place and pretty much zero chance of a CL place. They've also had a recent takeover by a Chinese investment firm with plenty of credit line shenanigans but no evidence yet of intentions to spend big.

You'd be fuming if that was Everton.
