I didn't say he played badly, my problem with him is that if he lies down he is a cheat, the dive he took when put through was embarrassing. Concentrate on playing football not cheating. He was our only threat all game. Your taking rubbish mate. He had a go, if we had any decent strikers we would of walked away with a point at least
I have a possible irrational man crush on him.
He excites me more than any other current Everton player. He's exactly the type of player I love to see playing for us and he's going to turn into some player indeed. Shortly too.
I hope he keeps on diving too.
I get a semi every time he touches the ball.
There seems to be a lot of that going around. Tim wets himself when he sees one of our defenders dealing with a cross, so in awe of Stones and Jags is he.Nothing to be ashamed off sure I prematurely wet myself and that's only when I see him getting picked to start!
It's a shame he doesn't seem comfortable on the left. Half the reason I think we end up playing only one winger most of the time is that all of our natural wide players prefer playing on the right. He has the tools to be great cutting in from the left, I think, but he never looks like he has any idea what he wants to do when he goes over there. Still better than Lennon on the left, though.
To be fair when he was here last time there were times he didn't have a clue what to with it on the right and he has learnt that since. He may learn to adapt to play on the left given time as he does appear to be a quick learner. It's a shame he doesn't seem comfortable on the left. It's much more fashionable at the moment to have a left footer on the right or a right footer on the left so they can cut inside but I agree Deulofeu is a classic winger who likes to get in crosses and should always be on the right. Kev who likes to cut inside and shoot and never gets to the bi line should be on the left......he naturally hits fine crosses, often early getting half a yard on his full back or hitting the by-line and fizzing it across. The advantages of him playing on the left are probably outweighed by what we would lose.
I just re-watched it and he wasn't awful. He was maybe the only player that was trying to make things happen. He is a dangerous buggar and that is enough for me.He was awful yesterday. Re-watch the game lads. Jury out on him, for me.
