The ball seemed to hit his shin/knee and at that moment where it was a step further out of range he just face-planted. Was a poor decision, maybe could have gotten away with it if he went down instantly but tbh, he should have just scored.

Fairly certain he did a bit, then I think he got reminded that we don't do that sort of thing.
