If they would be raised by Germans and not us, probably we would do quite better. If Podolski and Klose would learn their football in Poland, they would be much, much worse.

Wondering if English pundits (and fans) will drop their 4-4-2 love after this game, unability to pick up Ozil in 4-2-3-1 was a crucial part of today's match.

I cant understand some of the tactics Fabio has tried. He's too fuc*ing stubborn to try to change things when its pretty obvious they aren't working.

You are probably right. However Podolski seems more of a street footballer and not a player that you "coach up" which may explain his frailities on a club side.

With England you need a 4-4-2 or a 4-4-1-1. The players aren't skilled enough to play those fancy pants formations and given you don't have much time coaching an international squad you can't teach them otherwise. Unless you have the capability of Spain or Argie or Germany then I'm for keeping it simple in international football.

You know what it was entertaining so well in. Had a good time watching this match and thanks to a bad call the scoreline wasn't as bad as it could have been. However condition wise England was in no way as fit was Germany nor as skilled as they were. Germany was just better in every aspect of the match.
 
I feel England's pain on the blown call by the refs... that woulda made it 2-2 and England probably wouldn't have been scored on with the counters since they wouldn't have been pushing so hard.

that being said, where has Rooney been this whole tournament?
