ok from reading that little bit of a thread there you give your reasons for not supporting england which in my post i said fair enough but why support the Germans or the Argentineans thats what i don't get. Just like Club football, someone from Leigh can support Everton, someone from Wales can support Everton, someone from Texas can and will support Everton. It's football, a sport, a game.

Im predicting Messi to put on a masterclass display against speedy gonzalez and his teammates on sunday and net his 1st goals in a world cup. Even when being man marked and kicked all over the pitch against greece he still managed 2 assists and hit the post after a trademark mazy run, i just love watching him.

I like the German people I've met but want England to win. Be watching it at home or maybe in a bar. Got to go with the Argies against Mexico for the sake of my marriage. The fireworks will start if we do get through for a face off with La Mano De Dios. I know loads of Argentinians so I might run the gauntlet and watch it with them. Should be interesting.
