Correct - no point at all, but it's opened many members eyes to those members that love the establishment on here. It won't colour my view of them at all. I love all Evertonians.
It has also opened eyes to those who are tiny little people, with nothing at all about them but vitriol and spite toward anyone who might by happenstance have been born into financially more fortunate circumstances. These little people think themselves bigger by venting their bile toward the more fortunate, regardless of personal qualities or bereavement, and sneer at anyone with empathy and consideration, regardless of how huge a proportion of the population that is. I'm embarrassed to be sharing the same planet, let alone the same club.

lolYou alright hun?

Once again a small minority of moronic thugs have dragged our great club’s illustrious name through the mud.

I’m not a Royalist, but the Queen was a 96-year-old woman who served this country as a mechanic during the war and then as Head of State for over seventy years. By all means disrespect Truss or Starmer or Davey, but why her on the eve of her funeral?

This has made us look terrible nationally.

As an aside, she was the head of the Armed Forces so it was seen by many as a direct attack on our brave forces veterans.

Genuine question …and please don’t take this as provocative.. but why should people pay deference to others when they strongly feel against what it is they stood for ? I get people wanting to show respect to the queen which is a normal and human reaction but there seems to be a bit of hypocrisy in regards to the vitriol directed at those who feel very anti monarchy and want to show this .. which is their right.. although I personally don’t agree with shouts during a funeral procession but surely if you wish to show your respect freely then you have ti accept some others feel differently and have as much right to convey this as others do who condone it. That’s just my thinking anyway.
