Or, you you could be proud that you made a statement for freedom from fascism, while 36000 other fans wondered what the hell was going on and why they were all quiet because not many people want a monarchy and it's only that the royalists are so violent and so good at brainwashing most are scared to speak out against
Andy I know all about the many bad points, evil even, of Royalty over the years and obviously I don’t disagree with those who despise them but this was a one off for a ninety six year old lady and I chose to keep by thoughts to myself because of that.

If you don't want to respect the person who the minutes silence is for then hold your own respectful silence for the people that you loved. That is what I do, there have been a ton of silences for people that I had never met, some famous people I didn't necessarily like but I stood there and thought about people I have lost. Just simply treat it as a personal moment of reflection or maybe just think of what you are having for tea later.

I have actually had the unfortunate scenario where there was a minute silence at the football for my Dad, it would have absolutely destroyed me if even one person boo'd or disrespected it in other ways. You don't need to be brainwashed to be respectful of other people and be silent for one minute, even if you are not thinking of the person it is intended to be for.

I don’t think many people are scared to speak out against Royalty but Sunday was definitely not the day to show any sort of protest.

Very LOL at Everton cutting out the minute's silence from this video because of the boos

The scumbags should have had a minutes applause for the Everton supporter who recently died. Too busy kow-towing to the state and their jingoism to honour someone who deserved to be honoured.
