So, we need to talk about gifs.

Im wanting to prevent their embed. They're overdone and they needlessly eat data.

So, a poll. Make the decision easier for me...

I voted yes. They used to be funny but they've been far too over done now. A load of thread turn into a gif-off and most of them are boring.

It always eats too much data and causes the page to take longer to load.

Sometimes a strong leader needs to go against public opinion sir and do what is right. It's not my job to tell you what to do but I offer my humble advice.

Only miserable arlarses would want to get rid of gifs.Even though I fit that description perfectly, I still say keep 'em.

Make 'em an infractable offence in the Everton form ( 5 points ? ) just to annoy Tommye though.

On the techie side, do we actually need to proxy gifs ? If we weren't serving them through our proxy, then maybe they wouldn't be a strain on resources ?
