Im wanting to prevent their embed. They're overdone and they needlessly eat data.

So, a poll. Make the decision easier for me...

Bet you never thought you'd see the day a vegetarian was pleased someone was cooking up a nice leg of lamb!

If the bossman says ban gifs then everyones going to have to accept it, can't have anyone arguing with the mods over their decisions.

Is there a setting option where each poster can turn gifs on/off? That way it's each of our choice.

It can be done with browser addons, or manually changing the browsers configuration settings.

If anything, I think during transfer windows every post should be forced to have at least one gif

As already mentioned, keep them to Ale House only. Not sure how a gif could ever be strictly on topic (unless it was a gif of a goal etc), so that automatically should rule them out of the Everton forum.

In the Ale House, well I rather like them, in the main. Prefer ones which accurately describe a physical response to a post (eg the classic Picard facepalm gif), but the ones with text bug me. Usually cos the text rarely matches the clip.

A wholesale removal would be a shame. Why not start with removing from the Everton forum, and review in a while?
