I love all the cool kids saying "you can't expect Alex turner to have the sae energy from 20 years ago. He's 37 now" after fifty year old Dave grohl screamed like a maniac for an hour. Guns n roses will smash it tomorrow and a 90 year old Elton John will have a million times more energy in his set on Sunday

Ruined them? Just go listen to the studio recordings haha.

Editing to say: Watching a live set via a television is the least optimum way to consume music. Go the gig or lash the albums on.
I do. Recently saw The Hives in Bristol and they blew that set out of the water. I have also seen the Arctic Monkeys live years ago when he hadn’t disappeared up his own arse.

Tbh I'd rather Alex turner sneeze in my ear than hear that blurt sing thebestthebestthebestofyouuuu 25 times

Really though, iPlayer has so much great stuff on so if you’ve sat their and moaned about the arctic monkeys for two hours you probably don’t like music anyway.

Go and watch hot chip. They’re great.

I find the iPlayer thing rubbish. Spent ages trawling through trying to find Royal Blood on the option that said Royal Blood, and ended up watching Carly Rae Jepson do Call Me Baby instead! Gave up looking.
