Just watched a few Pale Waves tracks. She’s a good front of band performer.

Awake early due to some jet lag so been on iPlayer to check out a few of the performance/bands from yesterday (just the odd song) for future reference and all that:-

Pale Waves - definitely see why they got some good traction on here yesterday so will be watching more
Couteeners - showing the Arctic Monkeys how to put on a good show despite dodgy vocals
Billy Nomates - cracking voice and quite a quirky performer so will be checking out more of her later
Maisie Peters - a bit bland

Dont think they are on catch up yet but if you missed them then I thoroughly recommend the Young Fathers set. Not seen that much energy in a performance for a long while and certainly a bit “different”.

Off to check who’s playing what and when for today now. Would welcome some left field suggestions?

Think i enjoyed AM a little more than some on here but 100% with the Alex Turner criticisms. Disappeared right up his own arse - the same bloke who wrote Fake Tales of San Francisco.

Sparks were way better and played a masterful festival set of new and old material.

That was one tedious, massively 1 paced set they done last night.

He's a fantastic, whitty songwriter but whatever personality he's trying to portray live, it's massively unconvincing and very annoying
