I wouldn’t mind that to be honest. With Lozano, tosun and Walcott as a three in front. I’d be happy.
You then have davies, Vlasic, lookman and DCL as good youth to rotate with them and keep everyone fresh and the youth developing.
Now just to sort the defence.

Reading Silva’s words regarding the formation being primarily 4-3-3, I can see Gueye being used as the ball winner in matches where we play 4-2-3-1, alongside a second holding midfielder.
Unfortunately for him, it’s difficult to see where he fits in with a 4-3-3. He’s not good enough on the ball to play on his own as the no. 6, ditto in the two further forward positions.
However, this is where we can be selective in the squad we have. Gueye would be a fantastic option to retain in that second DM position in a 4-2-3-1.

LB - I’m convinced that he’ll be looking at Robinson before buying here. If he deems him good enough, Baines will stay as starter with Robinson challenging. If he then gets his chance and isn’t good enough, we’ll see some movement in January.
DM - Oddly he mentioned Schneiderlin by name here. Personally, I wouldn’t want him hanging around. However, this might be a position where he feels Schneiderlin can do a job, so it’s less of an immediate priority.

I was hopeful of Dowell getting minutes this year but I don’t think 4-3-3 will suit him. He doesn’t have the searing pace needed to be one of the wingers and his best chance may be as rotation to Siggurdsson as one of the number 8s maybe.
